Sumter Equestrian Center, Inc is a new and growing horse show facility in the Heart of Central Florida. Sumter Equestrian Center was established in 2003 by the Wade Family with family oriented horse shows in mind. We strive to offer competitive yet affordable horse shows to our followers each year. SEC offers one of the most competitive venues for Hunter Jumper, Dressage and All Breed horse shows in Florida. We play host to many Florida and National horse show clubs including the Appaloosa Horse Club, Sunshine State Walking Racking and Spotted Saddle Horse Association, Area C 4-H Horse Shows, Sumter County Florida 4-H Horse Advisory Horse Shows, American Driving Society's Combined Driving Events, STRIDE Dressage club horse Shows and the Southern Draft Horse Association Horse Pulls.

Sumter Equestrian Center, Inc sponsors and hosts nine Hunter Jumper and Dressage horse shows each year in Florida. We also sponsor eight Open and All Breed horse shows. In 2008 Sumter Equestrian Center, Inc hosted shows that were sanctioned by the Florida Horse Trails Association, the American Paint Horse Association PAC program, and the American Quarter Horse Association's new Introductory Horse Shows.
